Welcome to SoJourner Christian Counseling, LLC. SoJourner was founded on the idea that all men and women are on a journey in life, in a state of perpetual and purposeful movement from cradle to grave. Whether the movement is healthy or unhealthy is dependent on the direction we choose to go. Sometimes the journey can be long and arduous. No one escapes taking the journey. We do, however, choose how we will travel.
SoJourner is dedicated to offering hope and healing to those who have grown weary and disheartened along the way – sometimes damaged by the wrongdoing of others. In such a state, we can unwittingly make choices that undermine our authenticity and deplete the joy we were made to experience. Thus, we may live a life plagued by distorted identity, compulsive behavior, anxiety, depression, and anger.
The Truth came to set us free from these tyrannical impulses – by discovering who God is and subsequently, who we are. Rick Polachek, who has established SoJourner, has counseled for over 13 years, coming alongside those in need of hope, rest, and renewed vision. He works with individuals, couples, and groups helping people reclaim the potential they were created for and the life they have longed to live.
